The NYC subway trial, free ride using PayPass


If you are living in the New York City, there is a good news for you. Citibank,MasterCard,and the MTA are testing a system, a new way to pay for the fares on Subway using a Citibank Debit MasterCard with PayPass. It is now only available on the No. 4,5,6 lines. The Lex line from 138th St. Station,Bronx through Borough Hall,Brooklyn. No metrocard needed, just speed through with a tap.
The fare is automatically deductucted from your Citibank checking account. Your first 3 rides are free and if you prepay online you can get 3 extra rides. That means 6 rides for free total.
Be sure your card has the PayPass logo.
